Everyone has a Voice

  • What was done successfully to meet the wants and needs of the target audience?
The show voice is one of the hottest shows on television now. The creators of this show do many things well in order to reach their target audience. The target audience for the vioce are people that are eightteen through forty nine yearls old. This target audience doesnt just watch it from night to night, they are ultimately part of the main show. The voice feels that it is necessary and get the best outcome if including their fans is the main part for their success. But how do they get the fans to feel included? The main souce is through twitter. Fans can vote for who they want to be saved or who they want to be eliminated from the show. It is like they are the real judge on the show and making all the deciding factors.
  • How was the social and consumer experience addressed? Was this done successfully? Explain.
Before the show airs, there is a segment that allows the fans to see back stage and what it is like with all of the singers and judges. The main part about this segment is talking with all of the contestants and getting insight on how they are feeling and how they think thy are gunna do in the upcomming show. But its not just all of the contestants, fans sometimes are able to go back stage and get a hands on experience. You can watch this segment on the television or stream it through either instagram or twitter. Another way where the voices excels is through a campaign called raise your voice. Through this campaign people are able to share their heart warming stories that include the acts of kindness that they provide within their community. If one story get a lot of attention via social media, it will be shown during the time of the next show. The stories are also featured on the shows twitter account and instagram account. The voice reaches the lives of millions of americans from week to week.
  • How were the digital media followers handled?
j               As of 2015, the Voice was named the most tweeted series. One stat that really stood out to me while doing some research on their social media stats is that at one point during a past show, fans were tweeting about the show at a very high 216,587 times per minute. The tweets included their votes and just their overall thoughts on the shows performance and actions. With twitter standing as one of their most popular assists, instagram is also right up there. Their instagram page kind of goes in a different direction than their twitter account. The instgram page makes it clear that they want to reach out to their audience and its main goin is to make them happy. In all of their pictures including people, you will not see one person not smiling. The pictures on their page include the judges, coaches, contestants, and fans. One thing i like with their instgram page is that they feel that it is necessary to stay away from any ethical engagements through society. I believe that this is crucial due to their huge audience range that comes from all around the world. Due to their ever growing fan base, you would think that it would be hard to work around ethical engagements without crossing paths with someone and affending them. The voice has another big assest that is their mobile app. Through this app people can vote on contestants through their tweets. On this app the audience can also see the behind the scenes clips before the shows and the thoughts of other fans, the judges, and most of the contestants and who they are working with. My mother is a huge fan of this show and watches it every week. She votes through the app because she feels twitter is not relevant. From week to week she has a different reaction due to the actions that happen. The voice has really stood out from other shows with their social media platforms and is always continuing to bring in a large digital presence through every show.
